Forecasts are calling for sunny skies, with highs in the 50s. On Wednesday and Thursday, another low-pressure system will move in, bringing gusty winds again, but it probably won’t rain. Snowmaking is projected to start tomorrow evening at Snow Valley and Snow Summit and continue on Thursday evening if conditions allow. Bear Mountain is not ready to turn the snow funs on yet. High temperatures will drop back to the 40s, and nighttime temperatures will fall into the teens and 20s. By Friday, the winds will get lighter, and nice, warmer weather will return for the weekend. Snow Valley, Snow Summit, and Bear Mountain are currently closed and are anticipated to reopen for the 2024/25 winter season at the end of November.
An official opening date has yet to be established, as it will depend on weather and snow conditions. Visit the
historical snowfall page to get an idea on when Mother Nature typically arrives with the goods.
Today you are able to purchase your next winter trip. Buy your season pass, lift tickets, lessons, rentals, parking tickets, tubing, and more online.
IMPORTANT: November 23 is not the opening date. It is a project start date that is subject to change based on weather and conditions. If the official opening date is before November 23, more tickets will be released. If the official opening date is after November 23, guests will be contacted to either change their reservation date or get fully refunded.
