Snow Summit is currently closed and is anticipated to reopen for the 2024/25 winter season at the end of November. An official opening date has yet to be established, as it will depend on weather and snow conditions. Currently, snowmaking has not started but is expected to begin in early November, based on historical trends. Visit the
historical snowfall page to get an idea on when Mother Nature typically arrives with the goods.
As of October 14, 2024, the Line Fire, which began on September 5, is 97% contained. Fortunately, Snow Valley, Snow Summit, and Bear Mountain have not been affected by the fire. To provide first responders the necessary space to fully contain the blaze and prepare the area for the winter months, the bike parks, hiking trails, Scenic Sky Chairs, and Basecamp activities at Snow Valley and Snow Summit will be closed for summer operations in 2024.
Operations at Bear Mountain Golf Course, including the driving range and practice area, are open through Sunday, October 27 with
tee times available online or by calling
909.585.8002.
We do not anticipate that the damage from the Line Fire will impact our winter operations. SR-330 is closed until further notice and may not reopen this winter season. However, all three resorts are expected to open sometime in late November or early December, depending on weather and snow conditions.
